On Tommy Woodpecker’s website they are described as “Designed and made by me in Shropshire and not mass produced; each of my gavels is slightly different and unique, high quality, beautifully and lovingly finished with beeswax polish so the natural colour of the wood can speak for itself” The three hand-made gavels and blocks which I ordered were of superb quality and testament to Tommy’s skills as a craftsman. They were presented to three friends in the Masonic world, all of whom were truly amazed at the unique quality of the gavels and blocks and they now hold pride of place in three masonic lodges in three Provinces in the country.
