All my pins may vary slightly as they are each handmade. I go with the shape and grain of the wood. This shape of pin is often known as a French style tapered pin. Any loose knots I always fill for hygiene reasons some pins have characterful knots in the wood that do not require filling and are just part of the natural beauty of wood. Care Instructions
Hand wash only, dry quickly and apply a little food safe or proprietary oil to your pin, in time the oil layers permeate the pin but up to that point, lightly sand or scour with scouring pad followed by oiling as necessary. A little extra care in the early years and perseverance with oil treatments will reap great benefits, you will be rewarded with a beautiful rolling pin that will serve you well for many years to come.
