Set of 2 Wooden Single Piece Hand Cut Chopping Boards Sycamore Wood

Handmade, hand cut, each one piece wooden chopping boards with no joins in English Sycamore. Great sizes ideal for a cheese board, table platter, chopping board and bread board.The grain is quilted so has a great silvery fiddleback in the grain.
All my wooden chopping boards are one piece items with no joins, they vary slightly as they are handmade individually not mass produced! I go with the grain and shape of the wood. If there are small knots these are filled for hygiene reasons. None of these boards have any visible knots. Designed by me, lovingly finished with food safe mineral oil.

Care Instructions
Hand wash only, dry quickly and apply a little food safe or proprietary oil to your board, avoid olive oil which tends to go rancid, in time the oil layers permeate the board after that point less oiling is required, lightly sand and oil your board as necessary to enliven and make it as good as new. A little extra care in the early years and perseverance with oil treatments will reap great benefits, you will be rewarded with a beautiful chopping board that will serve you well for many years to come. Sets of Boards or Boards and Pins also available. Oil should be left on the board for 4hrs to absorb fully ideally. We do not recommend that boards have no oil coating as they will not last and will become stained very quickly. Unoiled boards are done at special request but not recommended, this is usually where people want to use their own oils to coat the board not to leave it uncoated. Wax is not used on boards.
