Indian style handmade belan rolling pins handmade in a choice of sizes and woods, English hawthorn, English Cherry and English Elm with great grain. This unique pin is ideal for making chapatis and flatbreads.
Designed and handmade by me in my Shropshire workshop. Beautifully and lovingly finished with food safe oil. An ideal gift for anyone who loves the unique quality, grain and colours of natural finely crafted wooden items and loves to cook. Any loose knots I always fill for hygiene reasons, these pins has no filled knots.
Good to use in Indian style cooking, used with a flat palms on the handles to control the roll. Ideal for making all kinds of Indian flatbreads, chapatis and samosas.

These Indian style rolling pins are both around 300mm or 12 inches long see individual descriptions for sizes as they vary considerably in diameter.
Care Instructions
Hand wash only, dry quickly and apply a little food safe or proprietary oil to your pin, in time the oil layers permeate the pin but up to that point, lightly sand and oil your as necessary. A little extra care in the early years and perseverance with oil treatments will reap great benefits, you will be rewarded with a beautiful rolling pin that will serve you well for many years to come.
