Handmade, unique, salt and pepper pinch pots inset into a stunning block of English Pippy Yew Burr standing proud on little feet. Designed and handmade by me, not mass produced, individually made. Great must for burr aficionados. An ideal wedding or housewarming gift or just to treat yourself or someone at Christmas. This great addition to any dining table would be appreciated by anyone who loves the unique natural quality of finely crafted wood. The pinch pots are built into the one-piece base with separate matching dinky lids. Just fill each of your pots with the ground salt and ground pepper of your choice. A great feature on any dining table, or lovely addition to a chef’s kitchen.
Pippy Yew is full of character, the grain is gorgeously naturally coloured Such quirky, but wildly beautiful grain comes with gnarls and knots which are a part of its natural beauty. Some see these knots and gnarls as faults, others see this as unique originality and individuality, it’s all a matter of personal taste. I go with the grain and shape of the wood so each item has its own uniqueness. Designed and handmade by me. Beautiful in themselves but these pinch pots are made to be used and enjoyed. The length of these salt and pepper pinch pots in a block is approximately 7 inches or 178mm and approximately 3 and 3/8th inches or 86mm wide and 7/8ths of an inch thick or approximately 23mm.
Care Instructions
Dust and wax the stand and salt and pepper containers on the outside occasionally, to be rewarded with a deep shine over the years. Use wax like beeswax and avoid waxes that contain silicone. Polish the inside with a little food safe oil and allow to dry before re-filling.
