Pair of Handmade Japanese Large Point End Finger Grip Yawara Sticks

Martial arts traditional Japanese handmade pair of wooden Yawara sticks in gorgeously grained old English Laburnum large size. Handmade, great ergonomic finger grip design, to fit the palm of the large hands, smooth to the touch, perfect memorable and unusual gift. The Laburnum is fully of characterful marks in the grain and the rings of age show the wood came from a very aged tree in a Shropshire Country garden.  A different pattern on every face and quite mesmerising.
Each item is stylish unique, steeped in tradition and martial arts. The wooden Yawara stick is designed to fit in the palm of the hand, the Yawara name has been used interchangeably with jujutsu.
Designed and handmade by me in Shropshire not mass produced made individually, each one of my items is slightly different and totally unique, finished with wax polish to let the natural colour of the wood shine through.
Size
Yawara stick is approximately 7 inches long larger than my usual Yawara sticks.
Care Instructions
Polish the wood occasionally with beeswax to be rewarded with a deep shine in years to come.
